San Clemente Beaches
Enjoy surfing and other watersports at San Clemente’s 11 beaches.  From North Beach to Calfafia you'll be sure to find your favorite spot to have a little fun in the sun.  Tent and RV camping is also allowed at San Clemente State Beach.

Downtown San Clemente
Walk around the seaside village of Downtown San Clemente.  Here you will find many outstanding restaurants, bars, shops, and hotels.  Downtown San Clemente is near the intersection of El Camino Real and Avenida Del Mar.  Avenida Del Mar also runs down to the San Clemente Pier.

San Clemente Pier
After visiting the many restaurants, bars, and shops of Downtown San Clemente, just follow the street down to the San Clemente Pier.  Enjoy spectacular coastline and sunset views from the San Clemente Pier. Fisherman’s Restaurant is on the pier as well and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Hiking and Biking Trails
Outdoor enthusiast are sure to enjoy the hiking and biking trails of San Clemente.

  • The Beach Trail
  • The Cristianitos Regional Trail
  • The Prima Deschecha Regional Trail
  • Forester Ranch Ridgeline Trail
  • Sea Summit at Marblehead

The Beach Trail goes from North Beach to Calafia Beach and is 2.3 miles long.

The Cristianitos Regional Trail and the Prima Deschecha Regional Trail both begin at the end of Pico Road off the 5 freeway. The Cristianitos Trail leads up to the San Clemente Summit which is the highest point in San Clemente with an elevation of 1008 feet.

The Forester Ranch Ridgeline Trail is approx. 4 miles long and follows the crest of the hills of a portion of the Forester Ranch development.

Sea Summit at Marblehead is approx. 4 miles long.  Hikers can park at Jim Johnson Memorial Sports Park to access this trail.

Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens
Built in 1927, Casa Romantica was the family home of the founder of San Clemente, Ole Hanson.  Casa Romanitca’s more than 30 coastal gardens span over 2.5 acres. Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens offers self-guide or group tours.
